Dar Al Bahar - Essouira

Run by a French/Dutch couple, Dar Al Bahar offers a great location from which to explore the medina of this ancient port, as well as the surrounding coast. It offers lovely sea views and has an excellent roof terrace 5 stories high with great views.


Desert & Montagnes - Ouarzazate

Zineb and Jean Pierre Datcharry, with over 15 years experience in tourism, offer a great selection of treks in the Atlas Mountains and along the Atlantic Coast. They also run a well established hotel in Ouarzazate called Dar Daif, which is a great place as a base to visit the Sahara and surrounding area.


SPANA - Morocco

SPANA (Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad) was established in 1923 and is one of the world's oldest international animal welfare charities. Their vets treat over 370,000 working animals every year in some of the world's poorest communities. They work mainly in North and West Africa and the Middle East, but are called on to help around the world.
